2004 Ladys Pass Shiraz2004 Schoolhouse Red Shiraz-Viognier2004 MerlotIndia Red Cabernet Sauvignon2004 Ridge Shiraz

Very deep red to inky in colour, with a complex exotic and opulent nose of strong dark fruits, cedar and liquorice and nuances of musk, fruit confit, cumquat and ginger.

A full bodied palate with great voluptuousness, generosity and intensity.

The concentrated dark fruit and exotic flavours that are evident on the nose are carried strongly throughout the palate.

Excellent balance supports the complexity of the wine and enhances the length.

Great food wine- Try it with Thai food. Should have an ageing ability of 15-20 years.

“The wine is almost pitch black, yet it is vibrant with leafy, varietal cabernet character, and a plush, seductive, long, long palate”.
Tony Harper, Brisbane News

“Wild yeast/reductive characters early which blow off quickly to reveal red fruits tinged with aniseed, leaf and a slight mintiness, which adds to the wine rather than detracts…deeply coloured…rich, textured red fruits ,medium bodied but full flavoured and laced with mineral length…92 points , drink 2006-2012+ ”
Grant Dodd, The Winning Pro

“It’s still carrying its baby fat, still a bit sulphurous and laced with oak sweetness, but dig below that and you will find layers of perfectly formed cassis – like fruit, bound to flavours of lead pencil and bay leafy. Seriously impressive. Fantastic tannins to top it off”. – 91 points
