2004 Ladys Pass Shiraz2004 Schoolhouse Red Shiraz-Viognier2004 MerlotIndia Red Cabernet Sauvignon2004 Ridge Shiraz

Deep red to inky in colour this wine has exotic and lifted floral nose with intense violet, orange and quince characters.

A superb full bodied wine with lovely supple tannins enhancing the complex balance between floral, fruity [orange, wild strawberry, cherry brandy] and spicy characters.

Beautiful length with an evolution towards spicy and savory notes.

It should cellar well for 10 – 15 years. Nice food wine with game, blue cheese e.g. Roquefort, panned Foie gras.

“….reeks of Heathcote Shiraz and over – delivers incredibly for its retail price”.
Tony Harper, Brisbane News

“Just a baby, but is looking sharp already. Very perfumed, some subtle floral lift here but not overt, the winemaking shows a deft touch with the Viognier component. Fresh and vibrant, the tannins have a youthful precocity about them but this is a wine with prospects……will improve with time in bottle”.
Grant Dodd, The Winning Pro

“Jackpot. Blistering red wine. Really good. Really deep and gutsy and chewy, with smoked blackberries and Heathcote soil, spots of game and polite mint wrapped inside its heady world. It’s a bunched fist of flavour, and it’ll drink well young and with age. Great price”. 93 Points
Campbell Mattison, Winefront Monthly

“Very youthful and solid, but delivers attractive sweet fruit supported by slightly charry oak”. Recommended
