Ladys Pass Shiraz
2012 | $40 Bottle | $480 case
Deep crimson-purple; spicy/peppery black fruit aromas accurately predict the textured medium to full bodied palate; blackberry, anise and tar flavours are guarded by acidity, with tannins seamlessly woven through the finish.
2013 | $35 Bottle | $420 case
This wine shows a bright, deep crimson red hue. It is distinctly spicy and fragrant wine reminiscent of violets, black fruits and underlying tar. Sweet oak notes of chocolate and nutmeg compliment the fruit. The palate is remarkably fine and silky, with generous flavoursof black berry, plum and cherry. French oak adds notes of fresh cedar and vanillin spice. Elegant and well balanced in style, the tannins build admirably producing a taut and focused wine.
