Step Back in Time at Our Historic Cellar Door

Step inside Munari Wines' newest cellar door experience and discover something unexpected. Situated just 7 minutes north of Heathcote and 90 minutes from Melbourne and housed within a beautifully restored 1860s stable, the space invites you into another era, where weathered timber walls, antique furnishings, historic artefacts and old wine barrels tell stories spanning generations. Every corner reveals another piece of the Munari family's journey, making your wine tasting as much about history and heritage as it is about exceptional wine.

Here, tasting isn't rushed. Take your time with a guided seated tasting, exploring Heathcote's renowned Shiraz alongside our distinctive Italian varieties, including Vermentino, Garganega and Sangiovese. Each wine is thoughtfully presented with the stories behind the vineyard, the vintage and the people who made it.

When you're ready, settle into our gardens or shaded courtyard overlooking the vineyard. Share a gourmet pizza or generous charcuterie board, enjoy a coffee or another glass of wine, and let the afternoon unfold at its own pace.

Price: Choose from a tasting of six wines ($10), eight wines ($15), or our complete collection of 12 wines ($20). Relax into a guided seated tasting where we'll share the stories behind each wine and what makes Munari unique.

Charcuterie Boards, Pizza & Coffee

You can now enjoy a light lunch or a cheese platter to accompany your tasting. We offer small and large charcuterie boards with freshly sliced italian meats, cheeses and a variety of local olives, jam and other condiments served with crusty bread. Bookings aren’t required but it’s nice to know if you’re coming, especially if you are making a special trip out. Pizzas are also available 7 days a week including some of our favourites, the Naked Italian finished with freshly sliced prosciutto and rocket or the Salty Italian with ham, salami, mushrooms and olives. Gluten free available too. The kitchen is open until 3.30pm each day.

Espresso coffee & Tea are also available to finish off your tasting experience, or simply visit us from 11am any day of the week to enjoy one. You may also like to purchase a glass or bottle of wine and enjoy it by the heater or on the lawns surrounded by lush vines. We have a large courtyard, umbrellas and are child and dog friendly.

We accept group bookings and we have plenty of space for coach parking. Please pre-book all group bookings. No alcohol from off site is to be consumed on the property.
