Enjoy Heathcote’s best kept secret when you visit the cellar door at Munari Wines situated just 7 minutes north of Heathcote and 90 minutes from Melbourne. Step back in time and immerse yourself in the history of the property and the newly renovated Cellar Door which was originally the stables for the property and is situated alongside the original homestead, built in the 1860’s. When you enter the Cellar Door there is a nostalgia that makes you feel right at home. Explore the curiosities and historic wine cellar as you taste through the full wine range . When you visit Munari Wines you will understand why the ‘Friends of Munari’ make this their destination venue every time they visit Heathcote.

We boast a a full range of wines including Vermentino, Garganega, Rose, Cabernet and red blends & Dessert wines as well as the world famous ‘Heathcote Shiraz’. You’ll have the opportunity to taste the 95-point rated flagship ‘Ladys Pass’ Shiraz and Gun Picker Shiaz/Cabernet as well as understand how our wines demonstrate ‘terroir in full flight’ as acclaimed Wine Writer Campbell Mattinson once said.

Price: The price to taste six of our table wines is $10 or $15 for a tasting of eight wines. If you’d like to taste the full range (12 wines) it will cost $20. For this price you will enjoy a lovely seated tasting, expert advice and good service.

Charcuterie Boards, Pizza & Coffee

You can now enjoy a light lunch or a cheese platter to accompany your tasting. We offer small and large charcuterie boards with Italian deli meats, cheeses and a variety of local olives, onion jam and other condiments served with crusty bread. A charcuterie board for 2 costs $45 and for 4 people it's $60. Bookings aren’t required but mid-week i't’s nice to get a heads up. Pizzas are also available 7 days a week. Choose from our Naked Italian, Pesto Italiano, Simple Italian or Salty Italian options. Gluten free available too. The kitchen is open until 3.30pm each day.

Espresso coffee & Tea are also available to finish off your tasting experience, or simply visit us from 11am any day of the week to enjoy one. You may also like to purchase a glass or bottle of wine and enjoy it by the heater or on the lawns surrounded by lush vines. We have a large courtyard, umbrellas and are child and dog friendly.

We accept group bookings and we have plenty of space for coach parking. Please pre-book all group bookings. No alcohol from off site is to be consumed on the property.
